First of all, laws against discrimination concern all races, not just minorities. From my experience the laws concerning discrimination are pretty clear. If you can provide evidence of discrimination toward you in respect to hiring, firing, promotion, etc. then they have a big problem on their hands. The key part is evidence, meaning witnesses, written, or anything else that will hold up in court. A person can not simply claim they were discriminated against, that is not how it works. Basically, if a case makes it to court, there is evidence to support the discrimination claim. This is exactly the reason why these laws are in place. As far as I am concerned, if you are such a racist you are unable to control it and someone documents your prejudice towards them, you earned yourself a discrimination case. If there is a problem, it is with the legal system, not the law. There is no reason make employment discrimination legal again. Everyone should know that they do not have the option to
