Is it the Remicade?
I have been sick for the last few days. I mean really gross sick. It started with a sore throat and ear ache and ended with something like a stomach virus. Today is different. Today I feel weak from the stomach bug, but my pain levels are LOWER than they have been in over a month! I’m hoping and praying that the Remicade is indeed kicking in. My last infusion (which was the second one) was two weeks ago. My rheum said he thought the second one would make a difference. If it wasn’t for the weakness from being sick, I honestly believe that I would feel better than I have in maybe a year. I was almost scared to post this, because I’m well aware that I could wake up in complete agony tomorrow morning and be right back where I was. But, for now, my optimism and hope that the Remicade will work is pretty high. Whatever it is, I’m going to just take it for face value right now. Today I feel pretty good.
