Is it the employer’s or the applicant’s responsibility to choose the level of Disclosure?
The applicant signs the CRB application, so ultimately it is the applicants responsibility to choose the type of Disclosure appropriate to the job. However, under the CRC system, the application process begins when the employer gives the applicant a voucher number, and the employer will pre-select the Disclosure type. If the applicant disagrees with the selection, he should query it with the employer before continuing with the application.
