Is it surprising how long the Venetian Night event of Chicago lasted?
Chicagoans will flock to the lakefront on Saturday to catch the 52nd annual Venetian Night. Approximately 35 boats will sail from the Shedd Aquarium and Roosevelt Road at 8:15PM, with fireworks to follow. Venetian night is the longest running event produced by the city of Chicago, and many people get downtown early to enjoy the festivities.
