It’s not stupid for a girl to ask her boyfriend to marry her. Traditionally that is what happens on Leap Year days (February 29th). It IS stupid for anyone to consider marrying after knowing each other for only a few months. They will still be indulging in great sex and enjoying each others’ company. That is very different from a lifetime together. The couple will still be discovering each other. It takes years to discover the little things. Check the divorce statistics and see how many marriages break up and why they go wrong. Most of the ones who married early fail fairly quickly. Then there is a big gap and a lot of middle aged couple split when their children are out of primary school. Divorce is extremely expensive and traumatic. Patience is free and gives you the opportunity to walk away when you discover that your boyfriend is really a slob/lazy/violent/incompetent/unfaithful… with kids, or other things that make you incompatible.
