Is it sensible to include a plot summary in a film review?
Yes, because people that read or watch film reviews are on the fence about seeing the movie. If the film is good, then they still want to know more about the film to determine if they’ll see it. Usually, the plot can be revealed in about the first 5 minutes of the film. This isn’t really spoiling anything if the reviewer limits to about this time frame. Reviewers will then say that the rest of the film is something vague like and wacky adventures pursue.
