Is it safe to use Theraderm products during pregnancy?
Yes. Most of the Theraderm home maintenance products have no contraindication whatsoever during pregnancy or lactation. Due to the fact that lactic acid is a normal human metabolite, there is no toxicity and therefore no potential problem during pregnancy. Two exceptions, however, should be noted. The Enlighten for Age Spots, which contains Hydroquinone and Kojic acid, should not be used during the first trimester of pregnancy, although no studies have shown any correlation with these ingredients and problems in pregnancy.
