I would opt for Sudafed over Tylenol, just because I got the ok with that one from the doctor.

you can take anything that doesn’t have anti inflamitors im not sure what tylenol is coz im from australia so obiously different brand names, but i’ve had a cold for about 3 weeks now im also pregnant and my doc said i cudn’t really take much apart from panadol u can’t have cold and flue tablets u can’t have anything with anti inflamiories in it.

I was told that it is not OK to take that because Tylenol Cold has additional ingridiences that are not good for the baby. I just had a 2 week cold myself and it was horrible. But I couldnt take it anymore, and I took Tylenol Cold for todllers. it helped.

I wouldn’t take any medication while pregnant unless you consult your doctor first. Everything can have an effect on your baby.

My Dr. told me that I could use a nasal mist to help with congestion, but it is not good to take antihistamines when pregnant, and Tylenol Severe Cold has antihistamines in it. Just because the Tylenol is allowed, don’t be fooled. Ask your Dr. if he/she minds if you use a mild nasal spray to help control the congestion, or is there something else that they can recommend.
