Yes, in the past these tablets were linked to birth defects such as babies born without limbs etc. I was prescribed these tablets but despite being assured they are tried, tested and safe, I refused to take them just to be on the safe side. There have been a lot of medical advances and after 26 years, I highly doubt that these tablets would still be made and prescribed if there was still a risk to unborn babies.
