Drugs.com says (under the Citalopram listing), “antidepressants may cause serious or life-threatening lung problems in newborn babies whose mothers take the medication during pregnancy.” As far as other prescriptions, it’s best to ask your doctor or a pharmacist if you could safely take any of them together (especially when it comes to pregnancy). Anyone online would just be guessing based on website information as far as interactions are concerned… and we all know that the internet isn’t always accurate. Both doctors and pharmacists have access to a database of drug and supplement interactions, so they can accurately say rather quickly if they will interact. If you are a bit depressed, I would suggest getting outside for a walk (if you are able to, the sunlight helps support a healthy mood), talk to some friends, go to a spa for a “me day”, or something else you really enjoy.
