Is it safe to operate a Glow Worm combi boiler?

Unless the boiler has been condemned, that is you have been told by a corgi engineer that it is unsafe to use then there should be no issues. Assuming of course you are referring to a water leak and not a gas leak. I would also get a second opinion as BG can be known to ‘massage’ the size of the job and are hellish expensive if you let them do the work. Keep an eye on your pressure gauge in the short term but don’t leave it too long as constantly topping up with fresh water causes corrosion of ferrous metal parts in your heating system….not least radiators which can rust through from the inside due to there being no inhibitor left in the system (this is a chemical put into the system to prevent such things) hope this helps.
