If it is a non-chlorine bleach then it is more than likely that it will contain a ‘percarbonate’ which gradually liberates oxygen under ordinary conditions. If you acidify it you will form hydrogen peroxide in solution which may decompose spontaneously into oxygen … which is not too much of an issue. Hydrogen peroxide at high concentrations can be an ‘irritant’, but at the concentrations likely to be encountered here should not be a problem … but wash any splashing off under the tap. And, of course, rinse the nappies thoroughly. Check the labelling to see of ‘percarbonate’ is mentioned.

It depends upon what you mix with what. It does not mean that “NON-CHLORINE” means you have a license to mix whatever. However, the pH of both the liquids is important. To be on a safer side , please mix the liquids in a small quantity in a separate container and see what happens– look for any bubbling, heat or foaming. Make a good observance and then make your judgment accordingly. But my basic question is why ????? Each product has a big “R & D” behind it. There is a help line number and it will be advisable to call for more info. Sometimes if you mix some products it may produce some poisonous gases or by-products whuch are not desireable. Anyway, BE SAFE THAN SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!… GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
