Is it safe to install several packet writing softwares on the same system ?

– A – No. Having several packet writing softwares installed on the same PC is not recommended: there would be different programs trying to acess the same hardware ressources at the same time. It works Ok for hard-drives, but the matter is a much more difficult one as far as CD/DVD burners are concerned. If the sotwares have flaws ( read ‘bugs that are well hidden and difficult to detect’) in their capacities to run in such conditions then, at best, one of these sotwares will not function properly, at worse, the whole system might become unstable and none of the installed packet writing softwares work.
