Is it safe to have dental x-rays while pregnant?

Yes it is. I have been going to the dentist quite often lately and they know I’m trying to conceive, so they always make sure I’m covered with the protective apron for x-ray. They make sure they give me medication that is only suitable for women who are pregnant. Dental X-Rays are safe, its other X-rays that are not safe for pregnant women such as chest x-rays. When you go to the dentist, that is one of the question they will ask you, are you pregnant or ttc then they will give you a protective x-ray apron that will cover your chest and belly area. Good luck hun!!!
