Is it safe to get on a wood roller coaster?
Wooden coasters are safe, like most coasters. You are likely to get tossed around more in a wooden coaster, but it adds to the fun. Sometimes you have to lean or brace yourself to reduce the jolts to your body, but it might take a few rides to figure it out. There are some wooden coasters that are just as smooth as steel ones, in which case it isn’t an issue. I’m 45 and my girlfriend is 40, and we enjoyed even the roughest wooden coasters we have been on.
