Is it safe to download screensavers or can i go to best buy and buy them?
Screensavers are one of those things that aren’t safe to download. If it’s an .exe file, you could get a real bad virus. Other types of files are safer, but you could still get adware. I’m sure there are safe sites to download screensavers, but don’t just go anywhere. I particularly don’t like downloads that add a toolbar in your browser without giving you a choice during the download if you want it or not. Your anti-virus won’t stop annoying program add-ons like this. Yes you can buy screensavers. I bought a nice one of a fish tank with realistic fish. I bought it at Futureshop. If you’re really into screensavers, Ubuntu Linux has hundreds of free ones. But you have to load in Linux and have a dual boot.
