Is it safe to carry fire extinguishers in a hot auto trunk?
Check the warning label on the extinguisher or in user manual concerning proper storage procedures. Extinguishers can explode with tremendous force if exposed to temps. over 120 F. Edit: please see link for a pic of what can happen.
