Is it safe to burn MFC, MDF or bare chipboard?
The glues and other added chemicals make the odor of burning MDF extremely unpleasant and irritating to the nose and throat. Some people will have horrible headaches afterward as well. Worse, some older, cheaper boards may even emit cyanoacrylates when burning – and you really don’t need anything with the prefix “cyano” burning in your chiminea.
