IS it safe to bathe a small puppy 12 weeks of age before her shots?
There is no reason not to bathe the puppy. Her vaccine schedule has nothing to do with her bath schedule. Baths should only be avoided if: * Recent surgery would get incision area wet. * Topical medication was recently applied. * Very cold inside (puppies have a hard time regulating body temp). * Proper shampoo is not available -No human shampoo is better or as good as puppy specific shampoo. * Skin condition present that has not been evaluated by a vet.
