That would really depend on the kind of pills you’re thinking of taking. Personally I think that any diabetic should follow a good diet plan like the dukan type 2 diabetes diet plan to drop the pounds. This diet was designed for diabetics and for people who really needed to lose weight at a healthy pace. Pills are usually not a permanent solution.

Just skip phase one and start with phase 2. Or learn to count carbs. Your meals should consist of no more than 45 grams of carbs each meal and you can have 2 daily in between meal snacks that are no more than 15 grams of carbs each. As far as exercise, all you have to do is walk every day for 30 to 45 minutes. If you stick to either one of these diets, trust me, you will lose weigh
