Kind of….talk to the person and get their opinion on it. And let them know that you apologize if it has in any way offended them. Also, this person can seek out a hypnotist in which there has been great success to stop studdering altogether. My mom has been a hypnotherapist for years and she has a lot of cases of this and has been very successful in her practice. I mention this because really it is inexpensive and only takes like 1-2 twenty minute sessions in order to cure it. It is worth a try because it can become humiliating for the person who studders.
