A. Labs, programs and groups can continue to use whatever web technologies best suit their needs. Drupal is simply the WAG’s recommended Content Management System (CMS) and will be offered as UCAR’s official CMS service hosted by the Web Engineering Group. Organizations that want to host their own Drupal server or a different CMS solution are free to do so on their own servers. Groups can also choose to continue to build sites the way they do now using static HTML or other approaches.
