Is it really possible to slow or reverse aging?
For years we all believed that as we get older our body basically wears out. The theory is that all of our organs, tissues, muscles, bones, etc. have a set life span and weaken as we age. However research conducted over the last 25 years shows that some forms of aging may be preventable and even reversible. The cells that make up many our internal organs and skin regenerate themselves as frequently as every 28 days. Numerous studies demonstrate that most of our body is quite capable of repairing itself, and that healthy cells reproduce over and over allowing your organs to function at healthy levels regardless of our biological age. Fifty years ago it was believed that as we get older, the pituitary gland did not have the capacity to produce large amounts of HGH. However, recent studies have shown that an adequately stimulated mature pituitary gland is fully capable of producing as much HGH as a young pituitary gland. This is the key to slowing the aging process and extending life span
