nope, its just a way for them to make money. however, when your skin is moisturized (which is what tanning lotions do) you will tan more easily and more deeply…you’d be best off putting on a normal daily moisturizing lotion before hopping into the bed or one of your store-bought tanning lotions lying around your house.
