Since CCE v2 and Cygwin make use of the same DLLs, launching both the applications will result in DLLs with same names being opened. Windows will optimize out the DLLs with duplicate names, hence it is not possible to work with them simultaneously, however, if you are using exactly the same versions of the shared Cygwin libraries it is possible to run both CCE v2 and Cygwin at the same time. You cannot have different versions of the Cygwin libraries loaded.
