Is it possible to walk from Charmouth to Lyme Regis along the beach?
It is possible to walk all the way to Lyme Regis along the beach from Charmouth but only when the tide is low enough. You need to aim to reach the Lyme Regis end of the beach at low water as the recent landslide does restrict access as the tide comes in. The riskiest part is at the Lyme end where the groynes block the way when the tide comes in. If you are in any doubt, then please pop into the Centre to check for advice.
