Is it possible to use SoftSort with a network printer?
The short answer is, no. While using dots SoftSort the print queue of the selected printer will be halted to gather print jobs before they are printed as a set. If two or more users use dots SoftSort at a time their print jobs will intermingle and will lead to a mixed up print job list. Workaround: Install the printer driver locally at the computer running dots SoftSort and connect its port with the shared printer (e.g., \\servername\printername).
