Is it possible to use PartitionMagic 8 to format the PVR HDD?

Yes it is possible and even recommended if you have this software. You’ll be able to format the HDD using FAT32 without the limit of 32Go imposed by Windows XP. – Launch PartitionMagic – Select the partition you want to format (do not select another partition !!) – Select the menu “Partition\Format” – Choose the partition type “FAT32”, give it a short name and validate this choice – Finally click on “Apply” button in the bottom left corner of the main Windows and wait… At the end of process, don’t forget to format again the HDD using the PVR by the menu “Setup menu\PVR Control\Disk Tools\Format”.
