Is it possible to update Sophos Anti-Virus automatically?

0

You can update Sophos Anti-Virus automatically using either Enterprise Manager or SGET. Enterprise Manager enables you to download software updates and interim virus identities (IDEs) for Windows versions of Sophos Anti-Virus automatically from a dedicated Sophos website. The software updates are usually available ten days before they are available on CD. Downloading using Enterprise Manager requires a Sophos-issued username and password. You can either request an evaluation username and password or, for a full licence username and password, email customer services with details of your account. SGET is a Win32 utility which can be used to perform scripted or scheduled downloads from the Sophos website. It is available from the \TOOLS\UTILS directory of the Sophos Anti-Virus CD or from the downloads section of the website. Instructions on its use can be found in the SGET Release Notes.
