Is it possible to transfer to the MA Program from the Graduate Diploma Program?

0

Students who do not have the equivalent of an honours degree in economics may be offered admission into the Diploma program while they qualify for admission to the M.A. program. In this case, students must take a series of undergraduate courses, chosen in consultation with the Graduate Program Director, that will provide them with the necessary prerequisites for graduate economics courses. Ordinarily, these courses would be courses in Advanced Microeconomics (ECON 501), Advanced Macroeconomics (ECON 503), Econometrics (ECON 521)and Mathematics for Advanced Study in Economics (ECON 525). Any student accepted into the Diploma Program in order to qualify for admission to the M.A. program may take 600 level courses once they have completed the prerequisites.
