Is it possible to take advantage of the new high-res formats found on some BluRay discs, like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD?
To get the full benefit of these formats when using a TGR/TGP-401, your BluRay player will need to support decoding these formats to the multi-channel analog outputs. The 8ch outputs from the player would then be connected to the 8ch input on the TGR/TGP.
