Is it possible to synchronize with PAL and NTSC reference video (black burst) signals?
Yes. You can use an MY8-AEB card to synchronize with reference video (black burst) signals. In addition to its eight BNC connectors (four 2-channel inputs and four 2-channel outputs), the card also provides a REF VIDEO input. You can provide the DM2000VCM with a word clock by supplying a PAL or NTSC reference video signal (black burst signal) into this input. To enhance system reliability, the MY8-AEB also includes Yamaha’s proprietary eXi clock feature. In the event that the reference video signal is cut off, this feature will seamlessly continue to generate the word clock.
