Is it possible to store human DNA in human hair samples?

Hair itself contains no useable DNA it is only when the hair has been pulled out from the root leaving cells from the follicle attached to the base that a full DNA profile can be extracted. Therefore yes you can strore DNA for long periods of time if done correctly, but in terms of hair it needs to be hair that’s been ripped out from the roots, not cut off at the barbers. Mitochondrial DNA does exist, but it is not a full profile and simple profiles your matriarchal line of descent from ‘eve’ as the first known is called. So it can’t be used to identify you individually as you will share it with multiple others.
