Is it possible to speed up the Bank Reconciliation process?
There are a few methods of improving the speed at which you carry out this task. Firstly to do as much ‘Batch’ posting as possible. The results of doing this are that anything contained within a specific batch will be grouped together with a batch total and you only need to tick off that total and all the members of that batch will become matched. The Second method is to use the column headings. If you click on a heading it will sort the column either alphabetically or, more importantly, numerically ascending, click it again and it will sort descending. Another way to hasten your completion of the bank reconciliation is to use the ‘find’ feature. Click this button and enter any information you know about the particular posting and it will locate it for you.
