I’m not sure what you’re asking. If you wish to cut out part of it – say the biginning and the end – then no, you cannot do this in media player. However you should also have a bit of software called windows movie maker (standard with XP). Load the clip in to that and cut out the bits you don’t want. Then resave the edited version. It is easy to use software and shouldn’t take you long to work out. Movie maker is typically found by clicking on Start Programs Accessories Entertainment Then right click on Movie Maker and choose send to and then desktop (create shortcut). You can now launch it from your desktop.
