Is it possible to set default printer settings in an Excel document?
You can do so but only by creating a workbook or worksheet template. A default workbook template is used by Excel when new workbooks are created. When a workbook template is in place Excel opens a copy of the template workbook whenever a new workbook is requested. A default worksheet template is treated the same but is used when new worksheets are added to existing workbooks. Note that the default worksheet settings font, font size, and number of sheets in new workbooks can be changed without creating a workbook or worksheet template: choose the menu command Tools->Options and navigate to the General tab.
