Is it possible to see heartbeat @ 5 weeks/4days through abdominal ultrasound?
Well all I can say is my experience and that is that we had a scan done at 5 weeks and a heartbeat was not found. They did a vaginal scan and still no heartbeat. 10 days later I went back and a vaginal scan showed a heartbeat. I was told not to expect to see a heartbeat at the first scan, even through the transvaginal ultrasound and was even warned at the 6 week scan that we may not see a heartbeat then either. 5 weeks is very early.
