Is it possible to run Xeon 7140n processors in an IBM 3850 (model 8863)?

From what I’ve found the model 8864 came standard with 7100 series Xeons, but the 8863 was only available with 7000 series Xeons for a dual core option. Knowing that both systems use the same chipset I was hoping to replace the single core Cranford Xeons that it came with with a set of 7140n processors. So far, no success. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
