The screen can be rotated from the landscape position and used vertically. There is a menu function to change the On Screen Display (OSD) to a vertical mode. You can then use a computer graphics card to display in a portrait format (P42GA64 running on an NT-based system). Unfortunately the Plasmavision has no capability in itself to rotate the video or computer signal into portrait mode.
