Yes, anaerobic fermentation can be performed by using the O2-Enrichment configuration. Instead of connecting Air and O2 , N2 can be connected to the gas inlets. For microaerophilic fermentation, O2-Enrichment would also be used by connecting N2 to “Air gas in” and Air to “O2 gas in”.
