Yes. There is a way, but you need to have a PC. It depends on the DOS you were using on the hard drive. But you can slave it to the PC using the BIOS. Then if you still cannot access the data there are several programs you can buy (See the Search Link below) which will help you recover the files. I used my old hard drive in my PC as a slave hard drive to my new hard drive when I decided to update my system.
