Ink cartridges are typically built so the print head wears out at the same time the ink runs out. While it will continue to work if you “refill” the cartridge you are often going to see a slight degraded quality. There are some places online that you can purchase ink at a pretty good cost which saves you the headache of trying to refill and reuse an item that may not give you the best quality.
