Is it possible to receive direct financing from ITC?
ITC is not a financing institution, but a technical cooperation agency. ITC operates through government and business service organizations so that they can help spread ITC’s services to individual enterprises in developing countries and economies in transition, on a sustainable basis. To carry out country-based projects and activities, ITC must seek funding made available either through voluntary contributions by individual governments or through international or regional institutions. Moreover, beneficiaries are increasingly financing ITC services that they require. Any crafts- or visual arts-related export development request for ITC technical cooperation should be channelled to ITC by your country’s relevant national authorities for creative industries.
