Is it possible to receive academic credit for an internship?
Stern does not grant academic credit for internships and the administration cannot authorize liability waivers or hold harmless agreements pertaining to internships. As an alternative, it is recommended that students pursue paid internships with wage compensation, a meal stipend, and/or commuting stipend. Scheduling conflicts with internships are not an acceptable excuse for failing to meet one’s academic obligations.
