Is it possible to print from an iPad?
Unfortunately, the Apple iPad has neither a printer hook-up nor a built-in command where you can tap to automatically print a photo, note, or email at the touch of your fingertips.
Apple does suggest that you sync your iPad with your computer and print from there for fool-proof results, but you do have some other options. Like Apple is famous for, there are apps where you are able to print from your iPad.
Applications
Easy Photo-Print for iPhone – Yes, for iPhone. Although it is built for the iPhone, this app works on the iPad. It is not the most attractive app since it is blown up from the small iPhone screen to the large iPad screen, but it works with a wi-fi enabled Canon printer. But, hey, it’s free!
Air Sharing HD – At $9.99, this app searches shared printers, attaches to servers, and prints to printers on these servers. It only prints documents that you have on that server, which realistically means that anything you email to yourself, you can print. Not too bad.
Print Online – This app costs $5 and it works… but it is really complicated to understand and fails in comparison to built-in printing.
