Is it possible to move messages to my local hard drive using CMS WebMail?
Storing email on your local computer poses security problems if someone else gains access to your computer and means that unless there is a routine backup for your computer, if your computer crashes you will lose what you have stored. If you must store messages on your local computer, you will need to use a full-featured email program such as Thunderbird, Mail for Macintosh or Outlook configured to use an IMAP connection to move messages from your CMS server account to your local computer for storage. Remember to have regular backups of your system and to encrypt sensitive data.
