Is it possible to make it region free with a cell phone?
Yes. A symbian phone (like nokia 6600) will do the trick. Just install Psiloc Total IR Remote (15-day trial) & this CCF template, install Total IR to your phone & import to it the template. Assign a button to the code region free hack, press the button facing the IR of the phone to your player. Youll know it has worked when the player shuts down automatically. Power your player now and it is region free (regarding it still says Region 1 or 2). You might need to uninstall other IR softwear in your phone to avoid conflicts.
