Is it possible to make dolls house furniture from Polymer Clay?
If one table costs that much in a modern style, I am going to guess that you have a fairly large scale house which means you will not have to make little tiny artifacts to go in it. If you look around on the internet, you will find instructions for rolling out polymer clay into sheets and methods for making rods and other shapes as well as making color patterns. You will have to start by learning to handle the material and to either draw plans of the right size or find plans and drawings that you can enlarge or reduce so you can lay out the pieces in the right size and shape. Neither of these are very hard. On the other hand, you might look at using wood to make items that are made of wood – like beds and tables, etc. There is a long tradition of doing this and methods (and bragging about it) will also be found on the Internet. The first comment about wood not being very durable is probably based on kids using small wood objects that are abused as opposed to molded plastic toys.
