Is it possible to lose 30 pounds in 2 months?
I don’t think that’s possible, and even if it was, it would be extremely dangerous for your health. The medical community pretty much agrees that the slower you lose it, the longer it stays off. One pound per week seems to be about as fast as you can lose it safely and healthily. It’s always good to exercise (in sensible ways) and eat healthily (in sensible ways). You should be able to lose maybe around 10 pounds (depending on how overweight you currently are). 30 pounds, forget it. Carbs vs protein etc is all medically dubious. What matters for weight loss is calories in vs calories out. If you spend more energy than you eat you lose weight. Obviously some foods have more calories than others but it’s more important to eat sensibly (better foods, a bit less, mostly plants, as unprocessed as possible).
