Is it possible to just fly to Dubai and get work in the construction trades industry?
Just flying in? No, you shouldn’t to that. It depends on what kind of job you are looking for regarding construction and where you are coming from. Not knowing where you are from, construction workers brought into the UAE by agencies which hire them in their home countries are Indians, Pakistanis etc. Other Job seekers in the construction field like architects etc. are looking for suitable job offers online, apply and when hired getting a plane ticket to come to the UAE. Often on the right visa already. I could be wrong, but I assume that you are neither an Indian nor Pakistani worker. In case that I am right and you are a Western construction worker, please scratch the idea of coming to work in the UAE.
